Sealife London Review - 2021

I am back! I took a bit of a long break over winter for a rest but back grinding content now. I thought I'd get back into writing by reviewing the 4 major merlin non-theme park attractions am am yet to review: Sealife London, Shrek's Adventure, Madame Tussauds London and the London Eye. I've visited all 5 attractions this year, mianly over the winter period and had an amazing time.

I think the main reason Sealife London is superior to the other Sealife Attractions in the UK is it's variety in animals in the Aquarium Zones and it's length. Sealife provides a great family Attraction, but at only an hour and a half long (this is dependent on how busy it is, but htis is generally how long I spend in here) Sealife is definitely worth visiting in conjunction with another or multiple London Attractions. The experience is wuite expensive without a merlin pass at £27, but a 3 attraction bundle ticket is only £60 and it's obviously free with a merlin pass.

My favourite Sealife exhibits are probably Polar Adventure and Rainforest Adventure, both nearer the end of the experience. They present some beautiful species not commonly seen in Aquariums in the UK in themed, interactive zones. sealife is also educational for children, teaching them about the environment and conservation of nature and the species that live in it. This is obviously very important in an environment like an Aquarium where endangered species are cared for and released into the wild.

Of course there are other, more accesible to some Sealife Locations in England such as Blackpool, Brighton, Great Yarmouth, Gweek Seal Sanctuary, Hunstanton, Manchester, Scarborough and Weymouth. I haven't been to all of them (that's a goal for next year/year after), but London is currently my favourite so if you can get there, it's the one I'd recommend. If not, Great Yarmouth and Blackpool were also great. Sealife London is easily accessible by Public transport being incredibly close to both Westminster and Embankment tube stations and a short walk from either Waterloo and Victoria stations.

Have you been to a Sealife Attraction this season? Are you planning to visit one over closed season? Thank you for reading, I'll see you next time!
