In mid August I visited Zip World Tower to experience the Phoenix zip wire package! We were booked in to also ride Zip World Tower Coaster but unfortunately, the coaster was down for a week or so for maintenance and we had it refunded.
We arrived at 9.30, with the zip wire booked for 10. The booking tells you to to arrive 30 mins before your experience to get ready and wait for other groups to finish. Once all geared up, you are driven around 5 mins up the mountains in the top of the first zip wire in vans. We got up to the top of the zip wire, all checked we weren't missing anything and then after a quick explanation, we queued up ready for the first Zip Line!

I think we waited like 10/15 minutes, we were near the back of our group of 20 people (The Zip wire has 4 lines) After being clipped in, having any photos taken by staff (they were offering to take photos of us all ready to go, and then just zip the phone into the pocket of whoever was riding, they then open the gates, count down from 3 in Welsh and then you have to lower your legs and then you fly!
I can safely say the first wire was my favourite of the few I've done. The second wire started from a tower a short walk from the end of the first, and was exactly the same concept, except it takes you down to the main building where you got kitted up, ready to finish. The second wire had a much better view than the second, but wasn't as long or fast. This was highly down to weather as the day we went it was incredibly foggy and mist covered up any view or landscape around you, so I suggest going on a clear day.
Overall, the staff were so nice and welcoming, the experience was so finished considering how new it is, and it was just a general fun experience to put you out of your comfort zone! Thank You so Much Zip World Tower for the great morning!
Have you experienced a Zip Line this year? What did you think of it? Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed!
